Full membership in the German Association for the Study of English is open to all anglicists who hold a PhD and are in full-time employment in a University. PhD students can apply for an associate membership.
The annual membership fee entitles you to participate in the annual plenary conference (Anglistentag). It includes membership in the European Society for the Study of English (ESSE) and it offers you a subscription to the semi-annual journals Anglistik and The European Messenger. Membership also includes invitations to all major ESSE conferences (registration fees excluded).
